I set my alarm this morning & got up to study. & did! for an hour. & then the nannas came ’round & though they said 90times they’d stop disturbing me, they didn’t.. 🙂 I didn’t mind! hadn’t seen them for a year. nanna Cutts is 90something & when I think of her I think of her bright purple car & house in Torquay with the goldfish pond & the toilet-roll doll that I wanted to play with ’cause I was 6.
nanna Trish said “let me see your room,” & she went & sat on my bed & I said “is it scary?” & she said “no, I like it. it feels artistic, not sad. you’re not sad, are you?”
I taught her how to use Microsoft Word, & how to open an ICQ chat, & she told me dark family secrets I shall never reveal. I love love love her! she is the darlingest most gentle & adorable lady in the world. we’re going to Breakfast with the Birds on Sunday.. I took Kim there when she came. it’s a garden restaurant that is full of all kinds of birds & they sit on your shoulder & table & plate.
had my sociology exam today, I must have passed. had to write two essays, same as the last, choose topics from 10, & i’d prepared yesterday ’cause he’d told us what they’d be. anthropology tomorrow, i’ll set my alarm again to study. too tired today.
