mmm, this lifespan assignment is more difficult than I thought. and due sooner than I thought! this Monday. think how happy I will be after Monday and I am finished.
last stats lecture! he told us everything we’d done wrong in the SPSS exam. I did slightly worse than expected, but much better than average. so, since I didn’t expect everyone to do so badly that evens it out. the average score was 18 out of 30.
he asked for feedback and everyone started complaining about the tutorials! surprising. I was in the largest, and a couple people said we had never received results for the experiments we did, due to lack of time. despicable lies, we did so. he said, “well, it was Sue’s first time tutoring…” but she was great!
just as I thought that, Damian said, to the lecturer, “it’s not a reflection on Sue, she met us more than half way.”
I said, “hurrah!”
he quietly asked me what i’d thought of the tutorials.
I said, “I don’t know what they’re complaining about, we always finished on time and got results. the only problem was we never interpreted them as a group.”
peoples’ appeal is positively correlated with the number of times they use my name in conversssations with me, doubly so if they shorten it on their own initiative.
hhhh. i’m so impatient and dissatisfied. acheful.
oh! oh. the clash between Dionne and Michelle yesterday has since escalated. today I received a rather horrifying email from Michelle, sent out to a lot of people in that subject, although “There are some in our class that I have not sent this too as I have not heard thier feelings on this issue” (how can a university student close to thrice my age misspell a word such as their? she did it three times!).
the gist of the email: she had spoken to Miranda about “the incredibly rude and disrespectful way she tried to humiliate me in class,” and how numerous people hate Dionne’s guts and as a result don’t attend classes. Miranda was apparently very concerned. so Michelle has asked us to send our confidential complaints about Dionne to Miranda, in order to prevent Dionne teaching two core 3rd year subjects next year, as she is scheduled to do.
I am a quarter of the mind to instead send my entirely unconfidential opinion of Michelle to Miranda. Dionne’s response to Michelle was far from “ill mannered, inappropriate even unprofessional.” guess who I instead feel this bitter little description fits?
of course I won’t say anything. *lies down ala Braveheart on the betrayal field*
