After having a particularly bad few days I’ve been trying to think of what could be making me so fatigued and lethargic, so I can change it. I was thinking it is one of the following:
- Testosterone deficiency, which is what my doctor attributed it to when I very first went to one and asked why I was so fatigued and lethargic all the time. If it is this there is not much I can do about it, so I’ll leave it until last.
- My diet, which is just plainly horribly awful. The past week I’ve been having on average one meal a day (and by “meal” I mean “sandwich” or something like that). I analysed my diet for a while a few months ago and found I was getting about 0.1% of my recommended daily intake of every nutrient and vitamin and mineral.
My utter lack of exercise. Actually since this is just simply never going to change I’m scratching that one.
- Avil. I’ve been taking it in order to get to sleep; I haven’t missed a single night for weeks… and I know it has lasting effects the next day.
So last night I didn’t take an Avil at bedtime. It took me about an hour to get to sleep, and the first hour or two of sleep wasn’t very good… but I woke up feeling.. well, awake! and I felt awake all day! I felt good!
Could it really be so simple?
I also ate properly today. I made Brenton and I baked beans with cheese on toast for breakfast, I had yoghurt at morning tea, I had two sushi rolls for lunch, an apple in the afternoon and, well, a sandwich for dinner.
I’m not going to take Avil anymore. I’m going to try to eat better. We’ll see how it goes.
Anything to not have to exercise.
