What happened was this: I’ve been getting all of my online journals printed so I can keep them for ever alongside my handwritten journals. Over the past few years I’ve done two volumes (they are so prettie). Today I was deleting the entire contents of the unpuppet website (yes, it is all gone) when I came to the dazelie. I decided to print a third volume (now in the post flying t’wards me, a spot reserved on my journal shelf).
Once it was completed I thought I would delete the blog. I couldn’t do it. Instead I decided to resume it… again. I’ve been keeping my written journal rather well; the current edition is the giant red hard-backed tome, nearly full. However I don’t really note everyday inconsequence in it. Writing all that drivel out by hand is too tedious. So it hasn’t been recorded! How will I ever know it occurred?
How do people go about their daily lives knowing they forget the majority of what occurs?!
So, now. Where am I?
I live in a one bedroom unit in Kedron. After Jason and I broke up I stayed in our New Farm apartment for a year or so with a variety of housemates, but that became too stressful. Housemates are flighty and unreliable. So now I am only paying $180 a week, just for me. Meeeeee.
I am here with Guppy and a new fighter dubbed Nacho. Munchy died, uh, was put down, on 22nd March 2013. His kidneys failed. I was very sad; very, very sad, but am okay now.
I love Brenton <3
I work two days a week from the same old relationship counselling service I’ve been at since 2008. I work two afternoon/evenings a week from home doing online counselling. I work 1.5 days a week from Brenton’s private practice (have yet to receive any clients though). My hosting business is pretty much defunct, with only a handful of customers left; the plan is to reformat it as web-development (but not to really do much with it).
I still visit nanna Trish & poppa Wayne on the Gold Coast occasionally. Sarah is married to Hawkins. Mumm lives in a unit in Trinity Beach with her toy poodle Teddy.
The nails on my left hand are always shorter than those on my right. I think it is because when I do most one-handed things it is with my right hand, leaving my left to chew upon.
That’s it, I guess. I probs won’t update daily, of course, but I hope to reasonably oftenly.
